A quick plug for a cool website. TED, Technology Entertainment Design. Check out the TEDtalks from some of the more interesting minds of today. Specifically, I recommend the talks by Michael Shermer, and Hans Rosling. Fascinating stuff.
I'm looking into the requirements for the new Microsoft certifications... the MCITP: Database Developer one looks good, but I question how much database administration stuff the developers need to know. Should a coder need to know how to change permissions on a stored procedure? Good question for SQLTeam, maybe...
