Interesting thing - I have BackupExec on the network as our backup solution, and the latest version loaded. Turns out that when you launch the admin console, the process stays open even after you close the program. That takes up about 25MB of RAM. So if you launch the program again, does it use the existing process? Nope. It opens a whole new one. So if you open the program 3 or 4 times, as I do on a given day, you're spending about 100MB of RAM on a program you're not even running.
Well that kind of sucks. I may look around to see if there is a fix for that. Let you know if I find one. Weird.
