RAND()

Many things in the works at the moment. I have done some work on the website, but I don't think it's going to be ready on schedule as I had hoped. I was shooting for mid-September but that's not going to happen at this rate. We shall see, as usual.

I did manage to get in a workout this morning. Karen has suggested progress photos. I'm not sure if that's a good idea or not. While I like the idea of charting progress, my idea of progress is just seeing how long I can keep this up. It's really only been a few weeks so far, maybe 5 or 6, and I'm still enjoying the morning routine. I actually got to work a few minutes early today. Something that hasn't happened in a while.

Much going on at work as well. I'm learning quite a bit about NDM, PHP, SQL, and a few other three-letter subjects. Though I'm in a bit of a quandary about what direction I should point myself as far as career is concerned, and if the tech sector is really where I want to be in 30 years. For now, I'm still getting paid to play with other people's toys, so let's just keep on truckin'.

Preparations are beginning to take shape for v3. (Today's code term for the newest addition to the family.) I'm dying to get working on the floor in that room. Maybe this coming weekend would be a good opportunity for that. I'll have to keep the eyes open for a sale on flooring. The Andersons is usually pretty good for that. Good flooring at a good price. It is time for that carpet to get lost.

Also working on a little project for PB&J, which is a tongue drum. I've got most of it assembled, but I still have a lot of gluing and sanding to do, where the feet and sides are concerned. It should turn out OK. The top was a major pain to cut, by the way. 45 minutes with a jigsaw. Ugh. Next time, I'm going out and getting the proper blade for scroll cuts. They recommended a 20 TPI blade. I had a 12 TPI one. It worked, but it's rough. Looks OK for a first go, though, so I'm happy with it.

Time to get to work. Later, folks.

The tongue drum is actually looking quite cool.

V.3.0 is doing well. :-)

PB&J is very excited about being a big sis.
