Question of the day, to whoever reads this thing: What apps do you have open on your machine by default? Mine are: MS Outlook, Opera, OneNote, MMC, and occasionally Dreamweaver. Soon to be a permanet fixture as I get more into web development. Though I've recently heard good things about Microsoft's latest offering... Will have to check that out.
Speaking of MS's latest... I'm on the hook again for the newest version of Office, and when my new laptop arrives, I think I'll get back into testing Vista as well. I'm on the edge about testing it at home. I'm pretty sure my machine can handle the OS itself, but will my apps, and most importantly my games, run on it? I think I may use this weekend as a time to back some things up to CD, and do some soul searching, or at least some disk searching, and decide if I want to test it at home. A friend of mine is, and it's pretty sweet. Of course, he's got a Dell XPS-type with some serious juice to it, and I have a Dimension. I may be lacking in what I need to run some of the cooler Glass effects, but we'll see.
On the slate today: I have some web development to do. (Finally!) and a lot of cleanup for other projects. I'm finally getting the new hire to the point of semi-autonomy, so I'm beginning to free myself up to do other work. It feels good to have a little more wiggle room. Of course, the projects have been piling up in the meantime, so here we are. With plenty to do and little time to do it in. No matter, I can catch up pretty quickly when I need to.
Speaking of which, time to get to it. Two blog updates in a day. I'm on a roll!
