LearnFlow

My employer has contracted with Thompson learning centers to bring us something they call 'LearnFlow'. It's kind of a mixed-media distance learning thingy.... eh, whatever. They have a CCNP course. I'm interested. My motivation on that has flagged lately, and it's about time for me to renew, anyway. So... I signed up. I need to get my boss' approval, which won't be hard since the courses are pre-purchased, and there's no cost to the account or our own cost center. Sweet. I will post about my experiences with it here.

I did attend the orientation session last night, from home. (Thanks, VPN!) It wasn't too bad. It could have been a little shorter if people hadn't asked questions that were already answered in the presentation... I wonder sometimes, despite my tendency to get sleepy during long presentations, if I just absorb this stuff faster than other people. Strange. The presentation was basically, this is what it is and this is how it works. Now I just have to get signed up for the actual course. Fun.
